Heavenly Father,

We come before You in awe of Your majesty and grace, grateful for the biblical accounts that illuminate Your sovereign plan through history. As we reflect on Nehemiah 12:19, which states, "And of Joiarib, Mattenai; of Jedaiah, Uzzi;" — we are reminded of those faithful leaders whose names have been recorded for generations. They served during a critical time of restoration in Jerusalem, demonstrating a commitment to their calling and a dedication to Your work.

In this moment of prayer, Lord, we lift up our leaders, both in our communities and our personal lives. Just as Joiarib, Mattenai, Jedaiah, and Uzzi carried the burdens of their responsibilities, we ask that You grant our leaders wisdom, courage, and integrity. May they stand firm in their convictions and lead with a spirit that reflects Your love and truth.
