A Prayer for Faithfulness and Remembering God's Faithful Provision

"And for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the firstfruits. Remember me, O my God, for good." - Nehemiah 13:31

"And for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the firstfruits. Remember me, O my God, for good." - Nehemiah 13:{verse.verse_number}

Heavenly Father,

As I come before Your throne today, I am reminded of the words of Nehemiah, who in his time called upon You with a deep sense of need and expectation. "And for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the firstfruits. Remember me, O my God, for good." (Nehemiah 13:31 KJV) Lord, I echo this prayer in my own heart and life, seeking Your ever-present grace and guidance.

Lord God, I acknowledge Your sovereignty over all creation and Your majesty displayed in every season of life. You have laid out the plan and purpose for each of us, and in this moment, I desire to reflect on Your provisions and the way in which You orchestrate every detail for our good and Your glory. Just like Nehemiah, I know that I cannot rely on my own strength, but rather I must seek Your favor and wisdom in all that I do.

As Nehemiah faithfully offered wood at the appointed times, I also seek to offer the wood of my life—my efforts, my time, and my resources—at the times that You have set for me. Help me to be diligent and committed in my service to You, Lord. Teach me the importance of fulfilling my responsibilities, whether small or great, with a heart that is fully devoted to You. Let my actions and offerings reflect my love and reverence for You.

Lord, just as Nehemiah prayed for the remembrance of his good works, I too come before You asking that You remember my life and the intentions behind my labor. Forgive me for the times I have fallen short or become discouraged. Help me to rise anew each day with hope and vigor, trusting that You are aware of all that I do. I ask that my life may bear fruit, as I surrender my ambitions and pride to earnestly seek after Your ways.

I call on You this day to remember the areas of my life where I need Your intervention and blessing. Whether it is in my personal relationships, my career, or my spiritual journey, I seek Your good in every circumstance. Let my efforts not be in vain but guided by Your spirit. Enrich my path with wisdom as I navigate through decisions and challenges. May my life be an offering that is pleasing to You.

In this world filled with distractions and temptations, remind me of the importance of the firstfruits, the very best that I can offer to You, Lord. Help me to set aside time for prayer, worship, and reflection. Teach me to prioritize the things of Your kingdom above all else. May I never settle for mediocrity when it comes to my relationship with You, but strive to give You the best of my time, talents, and resources.

As I journey forward, Lord, instill in me a spirit of generosity and service. Help me to see opportunities to bless others, recognizing that in serving them, I also serve You. I pray that my life would be a reflection of Your character to those around me.

I thank You for the grace that sustains me and for the hope that drives me forward. I trust that You are with me in every step I take. I humbly ask that You remember me, O my God, not for my worthiness but for Your loving kindness and mercy.

I pray that I may be a vessel for good in this world, and that every act of service done in Your name would echo throughout eternity.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayer. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
