Almighty God,

We come before You today with hearts full of gratitude and reverence, acknowledging the greatness of Your providence and the bounds of Your faithfulness in our lives. As we reflect on the words from Numbers 18:26, we are reminded of the sacred duty entrusted to the Levites, and, by extension, to all of us who have been called to serve You and Your people. Through the ages, You have provided for Your children, and through this provision, we have learned about stewardship, responsibility, and faith.

Heavenly Father, You have granted us an inheritance that is far greater than we often realize. You have given us resources, both material and spiritual, which we are to manage wisely. Just as the Levites were instructed to take the tithes from the children of Israel as their inheritance, we too accept the gifts You have bestowed upon us. We understand that everything we possess is a gift from Your hand, and we humbly acknowledge that we are but stewards of these treasures.

Lord, as we reflect upon the instructions You gave to the Levites, we realize the importance of offering back to You a portion of what You have given us. You command them to offer a heave offering from the tithes they received, a tenth part dedicated to You. This reminds us that our generosity reflects our understanding of Your ultimate ownership over all things. It is a powerful reminder that our giving is not a loss but an act of faith, trust, and surrender to Your sovereignty.

We pray for the heart of a giver, Lord. Instill within us a spirit of generosity that mirrors Your own. Help us to understand that our tithes and offerings are not merely financial transactions but sacred acts of worship. Let us never approach this responsibility with reluctance or under compulsion, but with joy, knowing that we contribute to the work of Your kingdom. May our offerings be a reflection of our love for You and our acknowledgment of Your provision.

Father, there are many in our midst who may be struggling with the concept of giving. They may feel they do not have enough to offer, or they may have doubts about the impact of their contributions. We ask You to banish those fears and replace them with the assurance that whatever we offer, when given with a pure heart, is significant in Your eyes. You look not at the amount but at the intention behind the gift. Help us to remember that You multiply our efforts in ways we cannot fathom, sometimes transforming a small offering into a great blessing.

We also pray for those who receive our tithes and offerings—Your church, Your leaders, Your ministers. Grant them wisdom and discernment as they handle the resources entrusted to them. May they use what is given to further Your purposes, ensure aid for those in need, and spread Your love to the far corners of the earth. Together, we can enable the growth of Your kingdom and share the gospel with those who have yet to hear.

And as we gather our resources, Lord, help us to remember that our greatest offering—greater than our tithes or gifts—is ourselves. Transform our hearts to be completely devoted to You. May we willingly share our time, talents, and treasures, recognizing that these offerings are a response to Your love and grace.

Finally, Lord, we pray for the spirit of thanksgiving to dwell within us. May we never take for granted what we have nor forget to honor You with our first fruits. Let us live lives marked by gratitude, stewardship, and an unwavering commitment to serve You and those around us.
