Heavenly Father,

Lord, Your Word reminds us that "He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly" (Proverbs 14:29 KJV). As I strive for a sound heart, I turn to You, for "A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones" (Proverbs 14:30 KJV). I desire a heart that is sound, vibrant, and full of life. Lord, cleanse my heart from envy and bitterness, for I know how detrimental these toxins can be to my spiritual and physical well-being. Help me to celebrate the blessings of others, to be genuinely happy for those who prosper and succeed. Let my spirit be free of comparison, so that I may remain focused on the unique path You have laid out for me.

In moments of struggle, Lord, remind me that my worth is not defined by what others have or achieve, but instead by Your love for me. Heal the wounds of envy that may lurk in my heart, and replace them with gratitude for the gifts You have bestowed upon me. Teach me to find joy in the journey You have called me to, recognizing that all good things come from You. May my heart be filled with compassion for others and a deep well of contentment and peace.

As I strive to live according to Your Word, I ask for Your guidance in every interaction. Help me to be a source of encouragement to those around me, to speak words of life that uplift rather than tear down. May I mirror Your love and patience in my dealings with others, reflecting Your character in a world that often lacks understanding and compassion.
