Heavenly Father,

I come before You today with a humble heart, recognizing Your sovereignty over my life and the responsibility You have placed upon me as a parent. Your Word, particularly in Proverbs 19:18, reminds me to, "Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying." Lord, as I meditate on this verse, I am filled with both a sense of urgency and a deep reliance on Your guidance in this crucial role.

Father, I ask for Your wisdom as I discipline my children. Help me to understand that correction is not merely punitive but rather a loving tool that shapes character, serves to guide them, and fosters growth.
