You alone hold ultimate authority, and You call those in positions of power to mirror Your righteousness and justice.

Lord, we thank You for Your Word, which enlightens the path of those who lead. We acknowledge the strength and courage required to make decisions that align with Your holy will. May every leader on our earth, whether they reign as kings, presidents, or administrators, earnestly seek Your guidance as they sit upon their thrones of judgment. We pray that they look upon their duties with a heart aligned with Your compassion and uprightness.

Father, let leaders be filled with discernment and a holy vision, as symbolized by the wise eyes mentioned in Your Word. Grant them the ability to see the hearts of Your people, to understand their struggles, and to govern with wisdom that scatters away evil. May their judgments not be influenced by greed, bias, or fear, but rooted in truth and righteousness, illuminating the darkness that seeks to evade their sight.

We beseech You, Lord, to break the chains of wickedness that may surround our governments and institutions.
