Heavenly Father,

As I come before You today, I do so with a heart that seeks wisdom, a mind yearning for understanding, and a spirit that craves Your guidance. I am reminded of the words in Proverbs 22:24 from the King James Version: "Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go." Lord, I recognize the truth in this scripture, the caution it brings, and the wisdom it imparts.

I acknowledge that relationships and friendships profoundly impact our lives, shaping our character and influencing our decisions. I pray for discernment in choosing the company I keep. Help me not to align myself with those who harbor anger and resentment, lest I, too, become ensnared by their fury. Lord, let my heart be vigilant and my spirit attentive to the company I choose.

Father, I ask for the strength to avoid conflicts and unhealthy entanglements. Teach me to recognize the signs of anger and rage in others before I become too involved. Allow Your Holy Spirit to guide my choices and help me to listen to that still, small voice that warns me when I am veering toward relationships that could lead to discontent.

Lord, I confess that I have sometimes found comfort in associating with those who allow anger to rule their hearts. I have been drawn to their passion, yet I now see how detrimental their emotions can be to my peace of mind. Help me to distance myself from those energies that do not align with Your teachings. May I learn to embrace friendships that uplift my spirit, that infuse me with positivity, and that reflect Your love and grace.

Heavenly Father, I pray for those who do struggle with anger. I ask that You place Your hand of healing upon them. Help them release their inhibitions and sorrow, and guide them to the path of peace and reconciliation. Let Your light shine upon their hearts, transforming their anger into love and their fury into calmness. Teach them to seek You, Lord, as their refuge in times of distress, rather than allowing their feelings to consume them.

I also seek Your guidance in my communication, Lord. For I know that words can be powerful, and in moments of anger, they can inflict deep wounds. Help me to speak with love and kindness, even when confronted by tension. Grant me the serenity to embody compassion towards those who may express their anger toward me. May I, instead of fueling their fury, become a beacon of peace, reflecting Your character in all my interactions.

Father, I commit my friendships into Your hands. May I find true companionship among those who pursue You and who seek peace. Help me develop bonds that are rooted in love and mutual respect for one another, freed from the burden of anger. Teach me to encourage my friends to walk in Your ways and to be a source of strength for them, bringing them closer to You rather than reinforcing negative emotions.

As I navigate through life, help me to be wise in my choices and discerning in my friendships. Let me be a guardian of my spirit, choosing to walk with the righteous, and steer clear of those who would lead me astray. For You, O Lord, are the ultimate guide and protector, and I trust You with every aspect of my relationships.
