Heavenly Father,

As I come before You today, I am filled with a profound sense of reverence and humility. I stand in the light of Your Word, reflecting on Proverbs 28:28 from the King James Version: "When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase." Lord, I am aware that in these times of uncertainty and moral decay, Your truth serves as both a guide and a beacon. It reminds me that although wickedness may seek to dominate our world, Your righteousness is steadfast, and it flourishes even in the darkest of times.

Father, You know the trials that many face daily—the struggles against the forces of evil that seem to creep into our communities, families, and hearts. As the wicked rise in their arrogance and their calculations of power, we often sense a fear that envelops us, causing us to hide, to withdraw, or to feel hopeless. In those moments of rising darkness, Lord, remind us not to succumb to fear, but to stand firm in our faith. Help us to recognize that our hiding is not forever; it is a season of waiting to witness Your divine justice.

O God, I pray for those who find themselves in a shelter during challenging times, those who retreat when faced with opposition. Bestow upon them the courage to emerge as lights, equipped with the armor of faith, and to stand boldly against the powers of wickedness. May they be empowered by the knowledge that the true strength comes from You, and may they be emboldened to spread truth and righteousness even when it seems unpopular.

Lord, we know that the righteous have their roots in You, and as Your Word reminds us, when the wicked perish, the righteous increase. I pray for a generation that seeks righteousness, for hearts that hunger after justice and mercy. May we, as Your followers, strive to embody the very values You have laid out for us in Scripture. Let us not merely hide but prepare ourselves for the moment when Your righteousness will shine through, and when those entangled in wickedness will be dealt with by Your mighty hand. May we be agents of change, advocates of truth, and heralds of Your great love and compassion. Use us, Lord, to lift others from the depths of despair and confusion. May our actions, words, and thoughts reflect Your heavenly Kingdom, contributing to the increase of righteousness in a world so desperately in need.

Dear God, I pray for the lost and the wicked, that they may turn from their evil ways and seek Your forgiveness. May they find the grace that invites them into the fold of the righteous instead of being cast aside.
