Heavenly Father,

As I come before You today, I establish my heart with gratitude for Your unfailing love and guidance. I thank You for the gift of Your Word, which lights my path and directs my ways. In Proverbs 4:14-15, You teach us to "Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away." Lord, I humbly beseech You for the wisdom and discernment to heed this wise counsel, for in a world rife with distractions and temptations, I seek to walk securely in Your light.

Father, I recognize that the path of the wicked often appears alluring and filled with momentary pleasures. It is easy to be swayed by the false promises of security and satisfaction that the world offers. I ask, dear Lord, that You grant me the spiritual eyes to see beyond these fleeting enticements. Help me to discern the difference between temporary gain and eternal significance. May Your Holy Spirit stir within me a deep yearning for righteousness, steering me away from even the faintest glimpse of those paths that lead to destruction.

Lord Jesus, You walked this earth among men, yet You remained untainted by their sin. I strive to follow in Your footsteps, desiring to emulate Your purity and holiness. Instill in me a heart that beats in rhythm with Your desires - a heart that longs for justice, compassion, and love. Fortify my resolve so that when I encounter the temptations of this world, I will not hesitate but instead choose the noble and worthy path that You have laid before me.

As I navigate through my daily life, remind me of Proverbs 4:15, which calls me to avoid the way of evil men. Help me to be mindful of who I choose to associate with, the influences I allow into my life, and the environments I engage in. Surround me with godly friends and mentors who will uplift and encourage me to remain steadfast in my faith. Lead me away from those who would seek to sway my heart and mind towards evil, for I fully understand that bad company corrupts good character.

Father, I pray for discernment not only in my relationships but in my decisions and actions. When faced with choices, grant me the wisdom to understand the implications of my paths. Instill in me the courage to turn away from toxicity, negativity, and actions that contradict Your holy Word. Place a desire within my heart to seek clarity in all things and to approach each day with the intention of glorifying You.

In the face of challenges and adversities, remind me of the strength that comes from relying on You. Let me not be afraid to step away from the crowd when it leads towards wickedness. Give me the quiet resolve to choose integrity, even when it may cost me social favor or acceptance. Teach me to understand that true fulfillment comes from living in accordance with Your will, rather than the fleeting pleasures that accompany the paths of the wicked.

Lord, as I strive to pass by the wicked paths, fill my heart with hope and reassurance. Let me find solace in Your promises, knowing that by abstaining from evil, I will draw closer to You. May the joy of walking in Your light be my strength and my inspiration.

In conclusion, dear Lord, as I journey through life, give me the discernment to continue avoiding the entrapments of the wicked. Let me walk in paths of righteousness, bearing fruit that glorifies Your name. Thank You for the promises and guidance You provide through Your Word. May I find peace in Your presence as I seek to live a life that is pleasing in Your sight.
