Heavenly Father,

As I come before You today, my heart is full of gratitude for the gift of relationships, particularly the covenant of marriage that You have ordained. In the Book of Proverbs, in Chapter 5, Verse 18, You guide us with these profound words: “Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.” Lord, I embrace this verse and its meaning as I seek to understand and apply it deeper in my life. I ask for Your wisdom and guidance as I reflect on these sacred words.

Father, I thank You for the blessing of companionship and the love that You have instilled in my marriage. Each day, I desire to rejoice with my spouse, to cherish her as the gift she truly is, and to remember the passion that once ignited our hearts in youth. Help me to nurture and protect this love, my God, as I recognize the importance of honoring our union. May our home be a sacred space filled with Your presence, where laughter, joy, and understanding abound.

Lord, I pray that our relationship would be like a fountain—flowing, refreshing, and abundant. In every interaction with my spouse, may I be a source of encouragement and support. Just as a fountain brings life and joy, may my words and actions bring honor and blessing to her. Teach me, Lord, to communicate with love and patience, to listen with an open heart, and to share the burdens of life so that we may stand united in harmony.

Help me to see the beauty in her character, the strength in her spirit, and the kindness in her heart. Allow me to appreciate and celebrate the uniqueness of who she is, remembering the moments that first brought us together. Remind me of the vows we exchanged, the dreams we once whispered to each other, and the journey that we have embarked upon hand-in-hand. Let us not take these for granted but see them through Your divine eyes.

Teach me, Lord, to continually pursue her heart, just as I did when we were young. May I consistently strive to keep our love alive, much like a gardener tending to their plants, ensuring that our relationship flourishes and bears fruit. Instill in me a spirit of humility, so that I may admit when I am wrong and seek to reconcile differences swiftly.

Help us to build a life together that reflects Your goodness and grace. Let our interactions with each other and with the world be a testimony of Your love—a living example of how deep, respectful, and joyful a partnership can be when rooted in Your love. Teach us how to make time for fun and laughter amidst the challenges of life. May we never forget the importance of play and joy, even when burdens weigh heavily upon us.

I ask that You bless our fountain, Lord. May it overflow with compassion, understanding, and unwavering support. Bless us with the ability to face trials together, and help us to grow stronger through adversities. Let our love be a refuge for both of us, a place where we can be our authentic selves, free to share our dreams, fears, and aspirations without judgement.

As we grow older together, remind us to always rejoice with the wife of our youth. Even as time marches on, let our love be renewed daily, filled with the wisdom acquired from years of shared experiences. May we be a beacon of hope for others, reflecting the joy in our hearts and the beauty of our partnership, grounded in Your love.

Thank You, Lord, for Your eternal love, which teaches us how to love one another deeply and joyfully. Let every day be a new manifestation of this love, as we rejoice together in the journey of life.
