Prayer for Divine Protection and Guidance from Snares
"Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity." - Psalms 141:9

Heavenly Father, My Protector and Guide,
As I approach Your throne of grace today, I come with a heart full of gratitude and reverence. I bow before You, acknowledging Your sovereignty and power over all things, for You are the Creator of heaven and earth, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I am thankful for Your steadfast love, which endures forever, and for the promises found in Your Word that guide and sustain me.
In the stillness of this moment, I reflect upon the words of Psalm 141:9, where the psalmist cries out, "Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity." O Lord, I recognize that life is filled with challenges, and I am aware that there are forces that seek to undermine my faith, disrupt my peace, and ensnare my spirit. I come to You, asking for Your divine intervention in every area where I feel vulnerable.
Father, I confess that sometimes I walk into situations unguarded, not fully cognizant of the dangers around me. I seek Your strength and wisdom to help me discern the snares that the enemy has set before me. Help me to be vigilant as I navigate through this world, where the workers of iniquity often hide their intentions behind false facades and deceitful appearances. I pray that You will open my eyes to see the truth and give me the courage to turn away from paths that are not aligned with Your will.
Lord, protect me from those who wish to lead me astray. Guard my heart against the influence of those who do not have Your best interests for me. Surround me with steadfast friends and fellow believers who uplift and encourage my walk with You. Help me to be discerning in my relationships and to choose companions who will spur me on to righteousness and truth.
As I face the trials and tribulations of daily life, I ask for Your shield of protection. You have promised in Your Word that You are a fortress for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9). I claim that promise today, believing that no weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May Your angels encamp around me, providing safety and guidance as I journey through each day.
Father, I seek Your wisdom to navigate the traps laid before me. Help me to rely on Your Holy Spirit to lead me in the way that I should go. Illuminate my path with Your light so that I may walk with confidence and purpose, knowing that I am following Your divine plan for my life. Silence the voice of the enemy that whispers doubt and fear into my ears, and replace those lies with Your truth, which assures me of Your faithfulness.
As I submit my fears and worries about the snares of life into Your mighty hands, I also want to acknowledge that I trust Your timing and Your ways. Remind me that in every struggle, You are at work, shaping me into the person You created me to be. I will continue to seek You and Your righteousness, believing that as I do, I will be kept safe in the shadow of Your wings.
Lastly, Lord, I pray for those who fall into these snares, perhaps even those who set them. Help us to be agents of Your grace, showing love and compassion to all, even those who oppose us. May we walk in wisdom, demonstrating patience and understanding, so that through our actions, they may come to know Your truth and the transformative power of Your love.
I thank You for hearing my prayer, Lord. I place my trust in Your powerful name, believing that You will keep me safe from every snare and trap laid before me. In Jesus’ name, I pray.
Amen.
