A Prayer of Trust and Assurance in Divine Listening

O Sovereign Lord,

I come before You today, my heart filled with hope and confidence, guided by the profound words of Psalm 17:6: "I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech." In the stillness of the morning and the quiet of this moment, I am reminded of Your omniscience, Your boundless love, and Your compassionate presence in my life. It is with a sincere heart that I seek to draw nearer to You, knowing that You are ever attentive to those who call upon Your name.

Heavenly Father, as I dim the distractions of this world that cloud my mind and heart, I lift my voice to You in prayer, trusting completely that You will hear me. Your Word tells me that You do not turn away from those who earnestly seek You; instead, You welcome us with open arms. You alone are my refuge and strength, my ever-present help in times of trouble. Incline Your ear unto my supplications, dear God. I ask that You listen to my cries, not only for help but for understanding, for strength, and for guidance.

I thank You that I do not need to go through anyone else; I can approach Your throne of grace with confidence.
