Heavenly Father,

As I come to You today, I reflect upon the depths of Your love and protection over my life. In Psalm 36:11, it is written, "Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me." Lord, I humbly approach Your throne of grace, acknowledging my own vulnerabilities and the many ways in which pride can creep into my heart and ensnare my soul.

I ask that You would cleanse me from any prideful thoughts or deeds that reside within me. Help me to remain humble and grounded, recognizing always that every good thing in my life is a gift from You. Let me never forget the grace that sustains me each day. May I be aware of how pride can lead to discord and division among my relationships, distancing me from others and ultimately from You.

Lord, shield my heart from the arrogance that can blind me to my own faults and shortcomings. Teach me the value of humility — the understanding that I am but a vessel for Your glory, formed from dust and animated by Your Spirit. Remind me to speak kindly, to act justly, and to walk humbly with You, as Micah 6:8 reminds us. Help me to lift others up rather than put them down, to celebrate their victories and support them in their struggles.

Father, I also come before You acknowledging the forces of wickedness that dwell in the world around me. I recognize that there are powers at work — both seen and unseen — that wish to lead me astray, to remove me from the path You have set before me. In my struggles against these forces, I cling to Your promise of protection and deliverance.

Help me to stand firm in my faith, as Ephesians 6:10-18 urges us to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Equip me with the armor of God, so that I may withstand the schemes of the enemy. Protect me from those who wield the hand of wickedness, intent on tearing down and destroying the foundation of my faith and my commitment to You.

Lord, may Your presence be my sanctuary. Allow me to find shelter in Your embrace when the winds of pride and the hands of the wicked come against me. Let me not be shaken; instead, let me be steadfast and anchored in Your love.

I pray for those around me who may be influenced by pride, or those who are wicked in heart. May Your light shine into their lives, transforming their hearts and minds. Open their eyes to see the error of their ways, and draw them back to You. I desire for all to walk in humility and righteousness, embracing the beautiful truth that Your ways are higher than ours.

As I ask for Your protection, I also commit to being a guardian of humility and love in the lives of others. Help me to be a beacon of hope and truth in a world that often embraces pride and wickedness. Use me to share Your message of grace and restoration with those whose paths I cross.

In closing, Lord, I echo the words of the Psalmist: "Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me." Let these words serve as my plea for strength and deliverance. May my heart always yearn for humility, and may my life be a testament of Your faithfulness.
