O Eternal God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, we come before You today with hearts full of reverence and awe, acknowledging the magnificence of Your divine reign. As it is written in Psalms 45:6, “Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.” Lord, we are reminded through this scripture that Your kingdom is everlasting, and that Your authority is founded upon righteousness and justice.

In the quiet of this moment, I pause to reflect on the significance of Your throne. It is not just a seat of power; it is a symbol of Your sovereignty over all creation. I am in awe, dear Lord, as I contemplate the majesty that surrounds You. The heavens declare Your glory, and the earth, with all its living beings, radiates Your praise. Your throne stands unmatched in beauty and splendor, and I join the angelic hosts that surround You, proclaiming Your holiness and power.

Your reign is not contingent upon the fleeting opinions of humanity, nor is it bound by the limitations of time. You sit on the throne of eternity, where past, present, and future coexist under Your deliberate gaze. You see the struggles and joys in the hearts of men, and Your scepter is a beacon of rightness amidst the chaos of the world. As I bow before You today, remind me that I am a citizen of this eternal kingdom. Help me to seek first Your kingdom and its righteousness in all that I do.

Lord, as I meditate on the scepter of Your kingdom, I am reminded that it stands as an emblem of Your justice. Your judgments are true and just; they are perfect in every way. I lift my voice in praise, thanking You for the rightness of Your ways.
