O Lord, my Savior, I come before You today with a heart weighed down by the troubles of this world, and I hold close the words of Psalm 62:4: "They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah."

In these verses, I find a reflection of the challenges I face in my journey. Lord, I acknowledge that in this life, there are those who conspire against us, who plot and scheme to bring down the righteous from their heights, to undermine what You have established in us. They whisper sweet words, but their hearts are filled with venom. They appear as friends, yet their intent is to see us falter and fall.

Father, I seek refuge in Your presence. I know that You are my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. When the lies and deceit of man surround me, let me remember that I am held in the palm of Your hand. Teach me to discern the true intent behind the words of those around me. Grant me wisdom to see through the facade and clarity to understand their schemes.

I ask for a spirit of discernment to distinguish between the true allies and the false ones. Lord, those who delight in lies do not only wish to see the fall of the faithful; they may seek to disrupt the peace and stability of my life. I pray that You would guard my heart and my mind against their disturbances, against their crafty words that might seep into my soul, and against the doubt they may attempt to instill within me.

As Your Word says, they ‘bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly.’ Help me, O Lord, to remain steadfast in Your truth. Let me not be swayed by the opinions of those who do not know You, nor manipulated by the charm of those whose hearts are far from You. Teach my spirit to rise above their malicious intent and to continue in the path of love and kindness that You have called me to walk.

I pray for the strength to respond in love even when I am met with animosity. Fill my heart with Your compassion so that I may be a vessel of Your grace. Remind me to speak life and truth into situations where darkness seeks to prevail. Let my words be seasoned with salt, reflecting Your love, and dispelling the lies that others may spread.

Lord, I confess that at times I may allow doubt to intercept my thoughts or negativity to cloud my judgment. Forgive me for the moments I’ve felt overwhelmed by the schemes of those who do not walk in Your light. Remind me, Lord, that those who plot evil will ultimately fall into their own trap. Your justice prevails, even when I cannot see it.

I thank You for the protection that You offer. As I lift my concerns to You, I trust that You have already provided a way through every trial I face. Help me to anchor my hope in Your promises, to cling to the truth that You are ever-present and that You will never leave me nor forsake me. Let me remember that despite any outward appearances or the words spoken by those around me, my worth and excellency come from You alone.

So in the face of every curse, every lie, every plot against me, let me respond with faith, grounded in the love of Christ. I will trust in You, my God, for You are my fortress and my stronghold. I will declare Your goodness in the land of the living and proclaim Your faithfulness through every season of life.
