Heavenly Father,

As I open Your Word, I am reminded of the poignant words from Psalm 77:4, where it is said, "Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak." You know the depths of my heart, O Lord. You understand the turmoil that rages within when night falls and peace seems to elude me.
