A Prayer for the Kingdom of Our Lord
“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.” — Revelation 11:15
Heavenly Father, Sovereign Lord, we come before Your majestic throne with hearts full of awe and reverence. As we reflect on the profound words of Revelation 11:15, we recognize the glorious truth that You reign supreme over all creation. "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever." Lord, we stand amazed at the dominion that You established through Your Son, Jesus Christ, who has triumphed over sin, death, and the grave.
We thank You, God, for the promise of Your eternal Kingdom, one that is unshakeable and everlasting. We declare, like the great voices in heaven, that all kingdoms of this world are under Your sovereign control. Father, in a world filled with chaos and turmoil, it is comforting to know that You are actively involved in the affairs of men and that ultimately, Your reign will manifest in all its fullness.
Lord, we pray for the leaders and nations of this world. We ask that they would recognize Your authority and submit to Your will. May they understand that their power is but fleeting, and that true leadership comes from serving You. As we see kingdoms rise and fall, we pray that the hearts of leaders would be turned towards You, seeking Your wisdom and guidance.
We intercede for the marginalized, the oppressed, and the downtrodden. Let the reign of Christ bring justice and mercy, transforming the hearts of men that they would seek reconciliation and peace. We pray for those in authority, that they would be instruments of Your kingdom here on earth, promoting righteousness and equity, leading not for personal gain but for the welfare of those they serve.
As we consider Your reign, we are reminded that we too are called to be ambassadors of Your Kingdom. Lord, empower us with the boldness of the seventh angel and the great voices in heaven, to proclaim Your Gospel. Help us preach the good news of Christ to those around us, sharing the hope we have in You.
Father, we ask that the reality of Your Kingdom would permeate our communities. May we see a transformation in our neighborhoods, as individuals experience the love and grace of our Lord. Help us to be salt and light in this world, reflecting Your character in all that we do.
In our hearts, may we always remember that the kingdoms of this world are temporary. Give us a vision for Your eternal reign, where every tear will be wiped away, and pain and suffering will be no more. In our trials and challenges, help us to hold fast to the promise that You are coming again, and every knee shall bow before You.
Holy Spirit, awaken within us a longing for Your Kingdom to come. Inspire us to pray fervently for the fulfillment of Your promises. Teach us, through Your Word, how to live as citizens of heaven, while we dwell in this earthly realm. May our lives testify to Your faithfulness.
As we conclude our prayer, we lift our voices in unity with the heavenly hosts, praising You for the eternal reign of our Lord Jesus Christ. "He shall reign for ever and ever!" Amen.
We thank You, Lord, for the assurance of Your reign over our lives. We embrace our role as Your children and servants, committed to advancing Your Kingdom on earth. In the name of Jesus, our eternal King, we pray. Amen.

Revelation 11:15-19 - "Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.” And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying, “We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, who is and who was, for you have taken your great power and begun to reign. The nations raged, but your wrath came, and the time for the dead to be judged, and for rewarding your servants, the prophets and saints, and those who fear your name, both small and great, and for destroying the destroyers of the earth.” Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail."
