There are those who defy Your will, who oppress the weak, and who turn their backs on righteousness. As Your Word proclaims, the nations rise in anger due to the injustices that abound. Yet, even amidst this chaos, we take comfort in knowing that Your wrath is not one of capriciousness, but a righteous response to the sin and corruption that plague our world.

Father, as we reflect on the promise that "the time of the dead, that they should be judged," we are reminded that You are both the just Judge and the merciful Redeemer.
