And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them." - Revelation 14:1-13
Heavenly Father,
As we gather in Your presence, we approach Your throne with profound humility and reverence, reflecting on the words of Revelation 14:1-13. Inspire us to sing praises to You, celebrating the transformative power of Your grace in our lives. May our worship ascend to You as a fragrant offering, honoring the Lamb who was slain for our sins.
We also hear the proclamation of the everlasting gospel, calling every nation and people to fear You and give glory to Your name. Lord, ignite in us a fervent desire to share this good news of salvation with those around us. We pray for the courage to proclaim Your truth amidst a world steeped in darkness. As we reflect on the urgency of this message, help us to understand the gravity of Your judgment and the importance of turning hearts toward You, our Creator and Sustainer.

Finally, as the voice from heaven pronounces a blessing upon the dead who die in the Lord, we pray for those who have gone before us. May they rest from their labors, and may their works follow them into eternity. Comfort us as we miss them, and instill in us the hope of resurrection and eternal life.
