O Mighty and Sovereign God,

As I come before You today, I am reminded of the incredible events recorded in Exodus 14:6, *"And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him."* Lord, this verse speaks to me of the determination and the resolute nature of Pharaoh, as he was surely consumed by his pride and feelings of superiority. Yet, even in that moment, Your guiding hand was still at work, setting the stage for an extraordinary display of Your power and might.

Lord, I lift my heart in prayer, recognizing how often I, like Pharaoh, prepare my own 'chariots'—my own plans and ambitions—without seeking Your will for my life first. Forgive me, Father, for rushing ahead in my own understanding, thinking I know what is best for me. Just as Pharaoh took his people with him, I also desire to take those around me along on the journey You have mapped out for us. Help me to be a leader of faith, encouraging those in my life to trust in Your divine guidance rather than in our own flawed understanding.

Heavenly Father, as I reflect on this scripture, I am struck by the weight of responsibility that comes with leadership. Pharaoh took his chariot and his people, but he led them toward ruin. Lord, guide me to lead others toward You—toward peace, freedom, and righteousness. Instill in me a heart that seeks Your wisdom above all else, a spirit that desires to discern Your will in every step I take. Teach me to trust in Your preparations and timing, even when the path seems unclear.

I pray for wisdom as I make my plans. Help me to consult with You at every turn, understanding that even the most carefully laid chariot can lead down a treacherous path if it is not fashioned by Your hand. May I never become so consumed by the urgency of the moment that I forget to stand still and listen for Your still, small voice amidst the clamor of life's demands.

Lord, I also remember right now those who are leading others in various capacities—whether as parents, teachers, mentors, or community leaders. You have placed people in positions of influence, and I pray that they would seek You earnestly as they prepare to lead. May they turn to You for strength and guidance, ensuring that their chariots are aligned with Your kingdom’s purpose. Inspire a wave of servants who are passionate about seeing Your name glorified through their leadership.

As I continue to meditate on the journey of the Israelites, I am acutely aware of their plight. They faced the vast and daunting sea before them, and the chariots of their oppressors behind them. Yet, You, O God, made a way where there seemed to be no way. Just as You intervened then, I ask for Your divine intervention in my life and in the lives of those around me. When the path seems blocked or impossible, remind me that You are the God who opens seas and breaks chains. I lean on Your faithfulness, knowing that no obstacle is too great for You to overcome.

Give me strength, Lord, to trust in Your deliverances. May I remember the victories You have won in the past, allowing them to fuel my faith for future challenges. Help me to commune with You, allowing Your Holy Spirit to lead me in every area of my life. Let me not be moved by the terror of my circumstances but to firmly stand upon the promises that You have provided.

In closing, I ask for a clear vision as I embark upon each day. May my heart, mind, and spirit be aligned with Your will, so that, like Moses, I might lead others to witness the splendor of Your saving grace.
