Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your word and the revelations that flow from it. Today, we specifically reflect on Ezra 10:24, which says, "Of the singers also; Eliashib: and of the porters; Shallum, and Telem, and Uri." Lord, in these names, we see not just individuals, but a lineage of service and a collective commitment toward the worship of You, our Holy God.

Thank You, Lord, for the gift of music and the profound role that singers play in lifting our spirits toward You. We are reminded of the power of song; it can break chains, mend hearts, and lead us into deeper encounters with You. Just as Eliashib, the singer, took his place in the assembly, I pray that we, too, find our voices in worship, echoing the praises of our hearts. May we dedicate the gift of music, whether through singing or playing instruments, to honor You and lead others into Your presence.

Father, as the worship leaders, we ask for a deeper understanding of our roles. Help us to be sensitive to the leading of Your Spirit. Teach us to prepare our hearts before entering Your courts; may our offerings of praise be genuine and heartfelt. We lift up the porters mentioned in Ezra's account—Shallum, Telem, and Uri—as representatives of those who serve quietly yet faithfully behind the scenes. Lord, we understand that every role You assign us in Your kingdom is vital. Help us to recognize the importance of each task, whether seen or unseen. Grant us the humility to serve without regard for recognition, knowing that every act of service is a reflection of Your love.

May we emulate the integrity of Shallum, the dedication of Telem, and the faithfulness of Uri. We pray for those who serve in various capacities—ushers, security personnel, sound engineers, and all who help facilitate our gatherings. Bless their efforts abundantly. Let them feel the weight of their importance in ministering to others and lifting burdens to let worship happen freely.

Lord, as we reflect on the legacy of these men, grant us a burning zeal to uphold their commitment to service. Beloved Father, instill in us a life of worship both in and out of our church environments. May our prayer lives sing Your praises! May our fellowship reflect Your love. Empower us to extend our service beyond Sundays, reaching out to those in need within and outside our community.
