Heavenly Father,

In the stillness of this moment, we come before You with reverence and thanksgiving for Your presence in our lives. As we meditate upon the words of Ezra 2:41, ‘The singers: the children of Asaph, an hundred twenty and eight,’ we are reminded of the profound importance of worship in our lives, just as it was in the lives of the Israelites returning from exile. Lord, we thank You for the heritage of worship that has been passed down through generations, a legacy anchored in the praises of Your people.
