"And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity." - Luke 13:12

Heavenly Father,

As we approach Your throne of grace today, we come with humble hearts, seeking Your presence and the healing touch that only You can provide. Lord, we are reminded of Your unwavering love and compassion through the words found in Luke 13:12: “And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.” With these powerful affirmations, we gather in prayer, leaning on Your promise to heal and set free.

O Lord, You who are intimately aware of our struggles, pain, and infirmities, we bring before You those burdens that weigh us down, the sicknesses that afflict us in mind, body, and spirit. Just as your Son spoke to the woman in the synagogue, calling her forward to experience freedom from her ailment, we too place ourselves at the foot of the cross, trusting in Your divine authority to release us from the chains of affliction that bind us.

Father, Your word assures us that You see us in our lowest moments. You recognize our afflictions not only as physical ailments but also as emotional and spiritual burdens that hinder our walk with You. We ask, Lord, that just as Jesus called the woman to Him, You would draw us closer in this moment of prayer. Let us feel Your holy presence surrounding us, enveloping us in love, mercy, and grace. Create in us a longing to come forward, to reach out to You in faith, believing that we too can be loosed from the infirmities that hold us captive.

Remove the veil of despair that clouds our hearts. Heal us of the doubts and fears that often overshadow Your promises. Just like the woman, we desire to hear You say to us, "Thou art loosed from thine infirmity.” Let those words resonate within our souls, igniting hope and faith that transcends the grip of our circumstances. We declare that every negative thought, every feeling of inadequacy, and every ounce of pain must submit to Your sovereign will and power.

Lord, we recognize that sometimes our infirmities are as much spiritual as they are physical. Forgive us for the moments we allow bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness to fester within us. Cleanse us, O God, and help us to forgive as we have been forgiven. As we seek to let go of those burdens, we invite Your Holy Spirit to pour in fresh grace and healing—spirit, soul, and body. Help us to walk in the fullness of the life You have promised, proclaiming our release from infirmity not just in our hearts but through our actions and our witness to others.

May this prayer be a reminder of Your enduring mercy and compassion. When we feel weak, remind us that in our weakness, Your strength is magnified. We envision ourselves standing upright, healed, and empowered by Your love, just as that woman did in the synagogue that day.

Thank you, Father, for Your faithfulness. Thank you for the truth that your Son, Jesus, is still calling us today. We commit to sharing the testimony of our healing, to glorify Your name, and to encourage those around us who are still waiting to experience the liberation You offer.

In the name of Jesus, who is our healer, we pray. Amen.
