Heavenly Father,

Lord, grant me the wisdom to comprehend the truth of Your Word. Teach me, O God, that every ambition not rooted in Your love is a mirage that, while enticing, ultimately leads to emptiness. Strengthen my resolve to resist the seduction of mammon, the false god of wealth that demands loyalty and offers nothing of true value in return. Allow my heart to break for the things that break Yours, filling me with a holy discontent for materialism that pulls me further from Your grace.

Help me to cultivate a heart that genuinely loves You, Lord. Ignite within me a passion for Your purposes that surpasses any desire for wealth or status. May my love for You outweigh any competing interests that strive for my affection. Teach me, Lord, to hold You as the utmost priority in my life, reinforcing the understanding that all else is secondary to the relationship I have with You through Jesus Christ.

Purify my motivations, dear Father. In my work and interaction with others, may my actions reflect a commitment to serve You wholeheartedly. Help me to recognize that my talents, my time, and my treasures come from You, and I am merely a steward of those gifts. Remind me, O Lord, that true fulfillment arises not from accumulating wealth but from embodying Your love and sharing it with others.

Forgive me, in moments of distraction, when I choose to pursue worldly gain over heavenly treasure. Equip me with the discernment to identify areas in my life where I may be serving two masters. Illuminate my path with Your light so that I may chase after righteousness and justice instead of fleeting rewards. Teach me to live out the truth that my ultimate joy lies in aligning my will with Yours, and that my prosperity is intricately tied to my obedience and faithfulness.

As I navigate this earthly journey, remind me of the eternal impact of my choices. Let my focus be on investing in the things that matter to You—acts of kindness, service, and love that reflect Your heart. When I am tempted to shift my allegiance from You to the allure of wealth or societal approval, draw my thoughts back to the life of Jesus, who exemplified perfect submission to You, relying not on earthly riches but on the richness of spirit that comes from intimacy with the Father.

I declare my commitment to serve only You, God.
