O Lord Most High,

In the quiet moments of my heart, I come before You, fully aware that You are the Creator of all things, the Giver of life, and the Sustainer of my spirit. Today, I lay my soul bare before You, guided by the powerful words of Matthew 8:10: "When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel."

Father, I am humbled as I reflect on Your Son’s profound recognition of faith. He marvelled not at earthly majesty but at the extraordinary faith displayed by the centurion, a man of authority and power who understood the divine authority of Christ. Lord, I long to possess such faith—a faith that unwaveringly trusts in Your promises, that believes without seeing, and that acts in obedience even when circumstances seem dire.

Lord, I ask that You instill in me a faith that makes You marvel. Let my heart be bold and unyielding, just as the centurion’s was. Teach me to recognize Your power and authority in my life, to understand that just as the centurion did, I too can call upon You for healing, for guidance, and for miracles. May my faith grow to such a stature that it rejoices in Your strength rather than relying on my feeble attempts.

Oh, Sovereign God, You know the struggles I face. In moments of doubt, when fear tries to overtake me, remind me of Your unwavering promises. Help me to see through eyes of faith, believing that You are the Almighty who is capable of the impossible. The centurion, a man unfit in the eyes of the Jews, uncovered the true nature of faith that transcends culture, status, and tradition. Grant me the wisdom to look beyond my limitations and to reach out to You, trusting in Your infinite capacity to act on my behalf.

As I endeavor to strengthen my faith, I acknowledge the times I have stepped back, consumed by doubt and insecurity. Forgive me, Lord, for the moments I have forgotten Your power and presence in my life. I repent for allowing fear to overshadow my trust in You. I vow to lift my eyes towards You, knowing that as I seek Your face, my faith will be renewed and restored.

Dear Lord, ignite within me a fervor for Your Word. I long to soak in the truths revealed in Scripture. Just as the centurion recognized that Your word alone could command healing, let me hold fast to the scriptures, cherishing them as life-giving, direction-setting, and soul-anchoring. May I cherish the moments spent in prayer and meditation, drawing closer to You, so that my faith may deepen and expand in ways that transform my life and those around me.

Help me, great and mighty God, to be an instrument of faith to those around me. Let my testimony reflect a life transformed by faith, that I may encourage ‘the Israel’ around me to step into a deeper relationship with You. Help me to be brave in sharing my faith, allowing others to witness Your greatness.

Ultimately, Father, I seek the kind of faith that makes heaven pause and marvel. I desire a faith that acts, moves, and transforms. Envelop me in Your embrace, strengthen my spirit, and prepare me to witness the wonders of Your handiwork in my life.
