Heavenly Father,

As I come before You in humility and reverence, I acknowledge Your supreme authority over all creation. I am reminded of Your profound wisdom as reflected in the Scriptures, particularly in Proverbs 24:20, which reminds us, "For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out." Lord, I place my trust in Your divine justice and Your unwavering commitment to righteousness.

Father, I lift up the issues of our world, where evil abounds and wickedness seems to thrive. It can often feel disheartening to witness the success of those who act with malice or disregard for Your ways. Yet, I am reassured by Your promise that evil will not prevail and that You are aware of every thought, intention, and action of man. As I meditate on Your Word, I pray for the strength to remain steadfast in faith, knowing that in Your perfect timing, justice shall be served.

Lord, I ask for Your light to shine upon the dark places where wickedness hides. May the truth penetrate the hearts of those who walk in darkness, prompting them to turn from their evil ways. May those who propagate evil realize the futility of their actions as they confront their own darkness, seeking redemption and change through a relationship with You.

Lord, I pray for the victims of wickedness. Comfort those who have been harmed by the actions of the evil-minded. Grant them strength to endure and heal from their suffering. As I contemplate the consequences of a life filled with wicked agendas, I am reminded of the futility that lies therein. The candle of the wicked may appear to shine bright for a season, but Your Word warns that it shall be put out. May Your truth penetrate the hearts of those who deceive themselves into thinking that their actions will lead to lasting reward. In Your mercy, bring them to the realization that without You, their paths lead only to despair and emptiness.

I desire to be a vessel of Your peace and a proclaimer of Your justice, not driven by the desire for personal reward but by a love that seeks to glorify You.

In conclusion, Lord, I thank You for the assurance that Your righteousness shall prevail and that the candle of the wicked shall indeed be put out.
