Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in humble adoration, thankful for Your grace and mercy that renews us each morning. As we gather in Your presence, we are reminded of the words in Acts 15:6: "And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter." Lord, we acknowledge the weight of this scripture as it speaks to the importance of unity and collective discernment among believers. As we reflect on this, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom in our hearts, leading us to come together in harmony as a body of Christ.

We recognize that in our journey of faith, there are moments that require discernment and thoughtful consideration. Just as the apostles and elders convened to deliberate and seek clarity, we also find ourselves faced with matters that challenge our understanding and require Your divine insight.

Father, we pray for an outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon all of us, that we may be open to hear not only from You but from each other. Help us to listen intently, to respect diverse perspectives, and to engage in dialogue that reflects Christ's love. Let our discussions be filled with grace, humility, and a desire for truth. We rejoice in the unity that You call us to, where we are not isolated but connected through Your love.

When disagreements arise, grant us patience and a spirit of reconciliation. Remind us that it is okay to differ as long as we do so in love and faith, focusing on the mission that unites us rather than the opinions that divide us. We ask that any bitterness, resentment, or strife be removed from our hearts so that we can approach others with a spirit of peace and understanding. Father, help us to embrace our fellow believers as brothers and sisters, knowing that we are all part of one body with You as our head.

Lord, as we come together to consider the matters at hand, we seek Your wisdom above all. You are the source of all knowledge and insight. We acknowledge that our understanding may be limited, but Your ways are higher than our ways and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts. We pray for clarity and discernment, that we may not rely on our own understanding but rather lean on You as we navigate the complexities of our discussions.

Let our hearts be open to Your instruction, and may we remain teachable. Reveal to us what it is that You would desire for us to pursue as a community of faith. Help us to focus on the mission that brings glory to Your name and further spreads the Good News of Jesus Christ. We pray that our decisions and actions amplify Your grace and love in a world that desperately needs hope and healing.

Father, we pray for our leaders—both apostles and elders—who guide and shepherd us. We ask for strength as they lead us in the way of righteousness and truth. May they be endowed with wisdom and discernment as they make decisions that impact the lives of those entrusted to their care. Surround them with Your angels, protect their hearts from discouragement, and fill them with the courage to make bold decisions rooted in Your Word.

In unity, we consider all matters before You, trusting that Your will shall prevail. May every action, every decision, and every discussion bring us closer together and closer to You. We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your love to saturate our hearts so that we may be made one, reflecting the heart of Christ in everything we do.
