Heavenly Father,

We come before You this day with hearts full of gratitude and reverence. Your Word reminds us in Acts 6:3, “Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.” Lord, we acknowledge that it is by Your divine guidance that we can select leaders who can lead us in accordance with Your will. As we seek to appoint those who will serve in various capacities, we humbly ask for Your discernment and wisdom.

Father, we desire leaders who are of honest report. Help us to look beyond mere appearances or qualifications and to seek men and women who have integrity at their core. Let honesty be the foundation of their character, that they may lead with transparency and trustworthiness. We pray that You guide us to those whose lives reflect Your truth, who have a reputation built on righteousness. May their commitment to integrity inspire those around them, encouraging a culture of honesty and respect.

Lord, we earnestly seek those who are full of the Holy Ghost. We recognize that wisdom and power come from Your Spirit. Fill these servant leaders with Your presence and enable them to move forward with grace and strength. We pray that they may be vessels of Your love and compassion, empowered not by their own strength, but by the might of the Holy Spirit. Surround them with Your anointing, so that every decision they make is rooted in fervent prayer and a desire to serve You above all.

In our search for leadership, we request that You impart wisdom into the hearts and minds of those who will be chosen. We know that true wisdom comes from You, and we ask that You equip them to discern right from wrong, to guide others with knowledge and understanding. May their decisions reflect not only human insight but divine revelation, fostering solutions that will glorify Your name and benefit the community they serve.

O Lord, as we look out among ourselves to appoint these leaders, may You provide us with a spirit of unity. Let no division or strife disrupt our efforts. Instead, instill in us a desire to work together, following the example Christ set for us—serving one another in love and humility. Help us to recognize and appreciate the different gifts and strengths you have bestowed upon each member of our community. Let these differences blend harmoniously as we come together in harmony to seek Your purpose.

We pray that in establishing these leaders, Your light may shine even brighter in our midst. Let them approach their roles with a servant's heart, always putting the needs of others before their own and mirroring the sacrifice of Christ. May they inspire those under their leadership, creating an environment that fosters growth, encouragement, and support.

Furthermore, we ask for Your protection over these leaders once they are appointed. Shield their hearts and minds from discouragement and doubt. Grant them courage in the face of challenges and give them resilience to persevere through trials. May they continually seek Your guidance, relying on Your strength and unfailing love.

Father God, we place our petitions before You, trusting that You will guide us to the right individuals who embody the qualities we’ve prayed for. As we seek out these seven men and women of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, may they become catalysts for transformation within our community.

In closing, we ask all these things in the glorious name of Jesus Christ, believing in His promise of guidance and leadership. Amen.
