Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts heavy yet hopeful, as we reflect upon Your Word in Ezekiel 7:6, which declares, “An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.” Lord, hearing the weight of these words, we recognize that the times we are living in are crucial. We are reminded that You are the God who knows the beginning from the end, the Alpha and Omega, who watches over all creation. We approach Your throne of grace, asking for understanding and clarity as we navigate through these turbulent times.

Almighty God, we confess that we often live our lives in a state of distraction, blinded by the noise and chaos that surround us. The world clamors for our attention, and if we are not diligent, we can easily forget the reality of Your impending judgment. Your Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path, and we desire to be guided by it. Help us to awaken to the truth of the situation — that every moment of our lives is precious, and we must be prepared for when the end truly comes.

Father, grant us the wisdom to discern the seasons of our lives. Teach us to recognize the signs of the times, so we may not be caught off guard when Your final plans unfold. Help us to observe and to learn, to take heed of the warnings detailed in Scripture, and to live in a manner worthy of our calling. We do not want to face the end with fear or despair but rather with a spirit of confidence rooted in Your promises.

Lord, we acknowledge that Your message in Ezekiel was also a call to repentance. As we stand at this crossroads, pertaining to the present and the future, may we not grow complacent in our faith. May we take this opportunity to examine our hearts. Is there anything we have allowed to creep in that has drawn us away from You? Have we put our trust in worldly things rather than in Your everlasting strength and sovereignty? We ask for Your mercy to reveal these areas and for the courage to turn back to You.

As Your people, we desire to be vessels of Your message of salvation. Help us to share the truth of the Gospel with those around us, emphasizing the urgency of the hour. So many live unaware of the end that is coming — they are lost and searching for meaning. Teach us to love our neighbors by proclaiming Your truths boldly yet compassionately. Encourage our hearts to reach out in service to those who need it most, just as You have reached out to us with Your boundless love and grace.

Lord, I pray for our leaders and those in authority. Show them the weight of their responsibilities and guide them to seek Your will in every decision they make. Let their actions reflect a desire to honor You and lead the nations with righteousness. We pray that they would be sent reminders of their accountability to You and that they would look to Your Word as their foundation in governing the affairs of mankind.

In this moment, Lord, I ask that You instill peace within us, the assurance that while an end may indeed come, it is not the end of hope. For even in the twilight of human history, You remain our refuge and strength. As we prepare ourselves, instill in our hearts a sense of purpose to love You with all our being and to love our neighbors as ourselves.

In closing, we rely on Your unfailing love, and we trust in Your perfect plan. Strengthen our resolve, deepen our faith, and prepare us for what lies ahead. With humility, we await Your coming.
